Appointment of Senior Vice President- Global Communications and UN Liaison.

IAEWP is pleased to announce the appointment of DR. MARKANDEY RAI to the post of Senior Vice President- Global Communications and UN Liaison, with immediate effects.

Dr Markandey Rai is also  the Recipient of Ambassador of Peace Award 2009 and “Hind Rattan Award” in 2006

He holds a  Ph.D. in Statistics (Econometrics); M.Sc. /M.A. (Statistics (Sociometry)), B.Sc./B.A. Special Hons. (Statistics) and  B.Sc. /B.A. Statistics, Sociology, Mathematics.


His current responsibilities are:

Chancellor, The Global Open University Nagaland, India;

President, Global Asia Knowledge Initiatives (GAKI), New Delhi; 

President, Foreign Affairs Committee of Indian Council for Int. Coop.;
