Appointment of IAEWP National Chancellor of Burundi




Mr. CELCIUS BARAHINDUKA 
IAEWP NATIONAL CHANCELLOR OF BURUNDI

The Executive Office of the  IAEWP President is pleased to announce the appointment of the new National Chancellor of Burundi for the period of 2017-2020

Mr. Celcius Barahinduka , is the Chief of accountant department  in the Ministry of Finance and Planning Development in Burundi, and  Ex. Auditor for the National NGO FORSC and also the former Internal Controller with the Human Rights League Iteka .

Mr.Celcius has worked extensively with several NGO working at the national, sub-regional and international levels. He has done a lot in research and publication in the study of proliferation of small arms and light weapons in Burundi conducted by Human Rights Iteka in collaboration with the Small Arms Survey at the University of Geneva.

EDUCATION 

Degree in Economic Sciences 2004: Business and industrial management option, Management Institute of Burundi (ISGE) 

Degree in accountant 1984, University of Burundi (ESCO) 

WORK EXPERIENCE 

Teacher at the Kivoga College (1981-1982). 

Inspector of trading; Ministry of Trade and Industry (1986-1993) 

Chief of administration and accountant department in National Assembly (1993-1996) 

Chief of accountant department in the Ministry of Finances and Planning Development since 1999 until now. 

CONSULTANCY WORK
  1. Private consultant in Internal Control, Business management, Accounting and Financial Audit, Development projects, Good Governance and Human Rights in commercial Enterprises: - September 1989 to October 1993:

Participation in the publication of the study on the mapping of armed violence in Burundi conducted by the Small Arms Survey at the University of Geneva; - March 2012, conducting a study entitled “The issue of refinancing of microfinance institutions by the Government Fund for Rural Micro-Credit (FMCR) : 202-2010
