APPOINTMENT OF THE NATIONAL CHANCELLOR OF MALAYSIA
It is hereby announced that His Excellency Mr. Zainal Abidin bin Mahamad has been officially appointed as the National Chancellor of Malaysia.
The appointment is effective for a term commencing on March 21, 2026, and concluding on February 21, 2028.
This appointment is made in recognition of Mr. Zainal Abidin bin Mahamat's distinguished leadership, commitment to national service, and his vision for the nation's future. As National Chancellor, he will preside over key ceremonial duties and provide strategic guidance in line with the nation's aspirations.
