The Appointment of IAEWP Vice President for the for South Pacific.





IAEWP is pleased to announce the appointment of the the Most Distinguished Robert J Burrowes PhD as the IAEWP Vice President for the  for  South Pacific.  He has been the warrior extraordinaire for the nonviolence movement.

Dr. Robert J. Burrowes has a lifetime commitment to understanding and ending human violence. He has done extensive research since 1966 in an effort to understand why human beings are violent and has been a nonviolent activist since 1981. He is the author of ‘Why Violence?‘. Robert is also the author of The Strategy of Nonviolent Defense: A Gandhian Approach as well as over 100 published articles

Dr. Robert J. Burrowes  lives in Daylesford, Victoria (and sometimes Melbourne)  with his loving wife Anita Mckone and  both  are lifetime nonviolent activists and researchers.
